Questions We Ponder
Campbell Eubanks
Campbell Eubanks is a senior at Columbus High School. Next year, she will be attending Columbus State University and will work on obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an area of focus in 3-D, Expanded Media, and Sculpture.
Artist Statement:
Throughout my sustained investigation, I answered questions based around creating a visual relationship between human’s connections with emotion. Starting out by questioning “What parts of the brain cause certain emotions?”, I focused mainly on capturing opposing sides of emotions and their causes. I began to concentrate on the way emotions impact us and how we individually deal with them by asking “How do emotions feel physically?” and “How do humans outwardly express emotions?” As I continued through this process, my questions around emotion evolved resulting in a better understanding of the relationship behind emotions and their impact.
