Artist Bio:
Landon Alexander will graduate this year from Hardaway High School and will be attend Columbus State University next year. He plans to double major with a BA in Fine Arts and a BA in Computer Science.
Artist Statement:
This year, I wanted to explore how the theme of death and restoration. For me death symbolizes the end of life itself. Something that was preserved is now forever gone, only to be remembered by those who do not understand the cycle of life and death. However, those who understand the cycle and are tasked with creating new life from the ashes that will be different in both shape and form. This leads to the theme of restoration, which is showcased in the setting and characters you see before you.
