Maria is a 2020 Hardaway High School Graduate from the IB Program.

 

Artist Statement:

​

What does it mean to be strong? This collection of artworks explores what it means to be mentally strong. To me, being strong means getting back up even when things are difficult. It also means recognizing one’s weaknesses and learning from them. In the beginning, I did not think this way. These pieces are a product of my discovery. They are also a reflection of my truest self.
