  Assignment: Create a thesis plan for the semester Due 1/27.

Week 2: 1/27 – Meet at the Columbus Museum at 4:30 pm

  15 min session: Artwork reports

Curator Chat: Unexpected Objects

 

Week 3: 2/3 – Studio Visits with Professor Israel/Studio Day 

Must be in studios working

 

Week 4: 2/10 – Museum vs Gallery/Lecture/Websites/

First Draft of Thesis Paper Due

 

Week 5: 2/17 – 1st Crit, Only finished work will be critiqued.  

 

Week 6: 2/24 –  Studio Visits with Professor Ragland/Studio Day 

Must be in studios working

 

Week 7: 3/3 – Evaluation/ Preparation for Exhibition

 

Week 8: 3/10 - Midterm (2nd Crit)

 

Week 9:   3/12–18 Spring Break

 

Week 10: 3/24 – Thesis Paper DUE and Jon Lumpkin Visit

Career Fair on March 24, 10:00-2:00, Student Rec Center.   

 

Center for Career Design will be offering workshops on how to dress, write a resume, communicate with employers, and polish a LinkedIn profile leading up to the Career Fair.  The list of workshops are listed here.  We'd be also happy to give a workshop in your class throughout the semester. You can request a workshop here. 

 

Academic Center for Tutoring 

 

The ACT at CSU offers free tutoring for all enrolled CSU students in a variety of courses as well as in writing and resume/cover letter preparation. Tutoring is available online or face to face in Simon Schwob Memorial Library on the Second Floor. An appointment is required.
